Texting terms

For customers of contractors who use Quote Composer

Who texts you

The business you asked for a quote texts you from its own business number. Quote Composer is the quoting software it uses to send and receive those texts. We don't text you on our own behalf.

How you agree to texts

When you book a site visit on your quote page, you can tick a box to get texts about the visit. The box is never ticked for you, and you can book without it. It looks like this:

Text me about this visit at (250) 555-0182Cedar Ridge Landscaping will text appointment updates, such as when they’re on the way, and replies to my messages from their business number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Agreeing isn’t required to book. Texting terms · Privacy

We keep a record of when you agreed and the exact words you agreed to. If you text a business's number first, it can reply to your messages in that conversation.

What you'll get

  • Updates about your booked visit, such as a text when the estimator is on the way.
  • Replies to texts and photos you send the business.
  • Answers to questions about your quote.

No marketing. How many texts you get depends on your visit and your questions.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Stopping texts and getting help

Reply STOP to stop all texts from that business. You'll get one message confirming it, and no more texts until you reply START. Reply HELP for help, contact the business directly, or write to contact@quotecomposer.com.

Mobile carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your phone number

Your number is used only to text between you and that business. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your agreement to receive texts is not shared with anyone except the providers that deliver the messages. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
