The service

Quote Composer is quoting software for fence contractors. Contractors subscribe to use the dashboard and publish a quote widget; homeowners use that widget for free to request a quote.

Quotes are between you and the contractor

We are not a party to any agreement you reach with a contractor, and we do not install fences. Prices, measurements, availability, and the work itself are the contractor's responsibility.

Estimates are generated from satellite imagery and the layout you draw. They are approximations. Actual site conditions — slope, obstructions, access, permits, and property line accuracy — routinely change the final price. Treat an estimate as a starting point, not a fixed price, unless the contractor issues an exact quote and says otherwise.

Accepting a quote

Typing your name to accept an exact quote is an electronic signature and forms an agreement with that contractor on the terms shown. We record the time, your IP address, and your browser's user agent as evidence. Anyone with your quote link can submit that form, so keep the link private. If you receive a confirmation for an acceptance you did not make, contact the contractor immediately so they can void it.

Deposits

Where a contractor enables deposits, payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Refunds and cancellations are handled by the contractor, not by us.

Contractor accounts

Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of their pricing, service areas, and published content, for the security of their account, and for the actions of everyone they invite to their workspace. Plan limits are described on the pricing page. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for use that damages the service or other users.

Acceptable use

Don't submit false enquiries, upload content you have no right to share, attempt to access other people's quotes or accounts, probe or overload the service, or use it to break the law.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that estimates will be accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of any contractor.
